The Figure in the windows is Christ The good Shepard
It states in the burial Register, the name Henry Thomas Percy Macklin. Aged 46, he is one of a number who died young about the turn of the century. In 1883 St Bede’s opened Semaphore Collegiate School in Turton St. where Henry Macklin, a Lay reader and choirmaster, was later employed as a teacher.
